Breastfeeding is added to New Jersey Anti-Discrimination Notices

New Jersey employers must make accommodations to allow women to breastfeed or express breast milk during the work day under a new law Gov. Chris Christie signed on Monday.
Effective immediately, breastfeeding is now a protected act under the state Law Against Discrimination, according to the legislation, (S2709). Employers must allow breaks during the day for women to express milk or breastfeed, and a private room to do it, the law said.
