The current minimum wage in Arizona is $13.85 per hour. This was increased from $12.80 per hour on January 1, 2023. The minimum wage is set to increase annually based on the Consumer Price Index.

There are a few exceptions to the minimum wage law. For example, tipped employees may be paid a lower wage, as long as they earn at least the minimum wage when tips are included. Additionally, some employees, such as those who are under 18 years old, may be paid a lower wage.

Employers who violate the minimum wage law may be subject to a fine of up to $1,000 for each violation.
